The 2014 Samson Cree Nation Inauguration ceremony for the newly elected and returning Chief and Council was held on March 14th, 2014. Amongst community members RCMP, Wetaskiwin Mayor Bill Elliott and Council members were also in attendance for this ceremony.
As we move forward into another political term, may be proactive and come together in unity to support and guide our leadership for the betterment of the entire community.
Congratulations to Chief Kurt Buffalo and Councillors Kirk Buffalo, Holly Johnson, Willy Lightning, Larron Northwest, Vernon Saddleback, Mario Swampy and Marvin Yellowbird on your re-election. As well as the newly elected Council members Clayton Bruno, Patrick Buffalo, Shannon Buffalo, Jonathan Dion and Glenda Swampy.
