Former Chief Victor Buffalo has established a business partnership in China. As a part of the cultural component, 20 youth from Samson Cree Nation will be taking part in a Cultural Exchange with China. It’s only open to Samson Band members. Applicants have to prepare a presentation. It can be made in any medium like an essay/story, maybe a beading lesson, song, dance, pictures. Whatever you want to do to display and share our Cree culture. Interviews will be scheduled after April 30th, the applicant will be presenting at this time. When we go to Beijing in August all the participants will be presenting at a Seminar as well. It’s a week long trip and a fundraising commitment is required of all accepted applicants.
