HUB has been operating within Samson since September of 2012. Programs, services and organizations have been working together to provide supports for community members. To date HUB has closed 80 files, assisting those community members in their time of need.
It is yet to be confirmed but there seems to be a correlation between crime rates lowering in Samson since HUB has been in operation.
On March 11, 2014 the HUB received an award from the Aboriginal Gang Strategy, ‘K’ Division of the RCMP for their valuable contribution to address Aboriginal gangs directly through the HUB program.
