Sara Potts and Nipisihkopahk Board of Education invited the “Elder in the Making” Director and Producer – Chris Hsiung and Cowboy Smithx to visited and inspired the Educators of Samson Cree Nation Schools on August 24, 2016. The making of the documentary took Chris and Cowboy 2 years to complete start to finish. The Documentary received official selections from the Calgary international Film Festival and the American Indian Film Festival. The presentation was very well received by the teachers and the Board. Chris and Cowboy are currently working on several documentary, and particularly one for the royal museum on Chief John Samson.
