One of Samson Cree Nation members Kelly Shawn Johnson was the recipient of the Business Award at the 21St Annual Aboriginal Role Models of Alberta Awards was which held at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch this past Saturday. Kelly got his start at Hobbema Glass from 1994 and started his own company “Glaziers Edge” in 2000, the same year he became Red Seal Journeyman Glazier from SAIT. Kelly is married to Lana Johnson, is the proud father of Anestasia, Jenna, Kiara, and Dalton and is the son of Donna Potts-Johnson and Don Johnson. Kelly enjoys playing his drums, hunting ducks and big game such as moose and deer, and spending quality time with his family. Congratulations Kelly!!!
