The Samson Cree Nation hosted a Veteran’s Powwow on November 11, 2015. there was approximately 350 plus dancers, 14 drums and singers from Alberta and Saskatchewan in attendance. We were honored with the presence of SCN Chief Kurt Buffalo,Grand Chief Steve Courtoreille of Treaty 8, AFN Regional Chief Craig Makinaw, Chief Randy Ermineskin and MP Blaine Culkins. The Powwow Committee did a wonderful job in ensuring the Powwow was a success.
