The treaty 1-11 Post Election Summit was held at the Tsuu T’ina Nation November 2, 2015, Approximately 19 Chiefs and Proxy Chiefs From Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba attended the meeting. Issue’s such as Education Bill C-33, Anti-Terrorism Act Bill C-51 , Omnibus Bill C-45, Nation to Nation Strategy and other first nation’s business was discussed. A position Paper was developed with the outcomes to be taken to the next Treaty 1-11 gathering held on November 27, 2015 at the River Cree and Resort. The Chiefs are preparing to meet with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, at the Annual AFN December Meeting in Gatineau ,Quebec.
