SCN Hosted the N.A.N.C.A 2015 Rodeo Finals on September 18, 19, 20, at the one and only Panee Agriplex. Three Days of Rip Roaring Action. The Best of the Best in First Nations Cowboys and Cowgirls competing for a chance to represent Northern Alberta at the INFR in Las Vegas , Nevada this November. September 19 Grand Entry was dedicated to Maskwacis Past and Present families of Rodeo, as well as former champions and the Founders of N.A.N.C.A. Herman Roasting and Doris Deschamps started the Rodeo Association in 1986. The first year that N.A.N.C.A had qualified for the INFA was 1988 and two of its cowboys won world titles. Marvin Yellowbird ( Steerwresting) and Kenton Randel (Bareback). This years finalists will havve their sights set on the world titles and SCN wishes them all the best. Congratulations going out to the Rodeo Committee for hosting such a successful event. The Contestants and N.A.N.C.A board members and Agreed that it was “the Best Finals ever hosted”.
