On June 21. 2016 the Four Nations Chiefs signed a Letter of Intent with the Alberta Minister of Education – David Eggen, they are hoping to amalgamate the 4 Nations Education Boards,
Nipisihkopahk Education, Kispatnahk Education, Akamihk Education and Neyaskweyahk Education to pool their educational resources to better serve the education needs of the individual Students and Nations by hiring more professionals , therapists and to gain leverage in negotiations with the Provincial and Federal Governments. They are also looking to include more Cree based content in
Language and Culture and continually increase the graduation rate in all Maskwacis Schools.
