On December 26 & 27 Samson Cree Nation hosted its 1st Annual Christmas Pow wow. In attendance there were approximately 290 dancers and 11 Drums, visitors traveled from Tucson Arizona, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and B.C. It was held at the SCN Oil and Gas building which is a great space for large events such as this one. The turnout for this event exceeded expectations. The pow wow committee did a wonderful job in organizing this event, and welcoming all of the visitors. Thank You singers, Dancers and community members for making Our Powwow a success.
