Samson Cree Nation and Ermineskin Cree Nation co-hosted a forum at the HBMC for the candidates in our area. All Four of the candidates were invited to participate unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts only two candidates that were able to attend NDP Candidate Doug Hart and Liberal Candidate Jeffrey Rock. This forum was to get to know the candidates, to listen to their views are, as well as thier action plans if elected. In attendance were numerous people from different age groups from the Maskwacis area. Cara Currie-Hall also brought her “Rock the Indigenous Vote” Campaign to the forum. Special thanks going out to all of the people who helped make this evening a success.
