Samson Cree Nation Internet Fibre Phase One Update – Fibre build is complete!
Samson Cree Nation was successful in obtaining a Grant from the Canadian Internet Registration Authority – CIRA that allowed Samson Cree to achieve reliable and efficient internet service at the Samson Cree Admin Building, Howard Buffalo Memorial Centre, Samson Daycare, and Samson Recreation Bingo Hall.
The project’s achievements were creating partnerships, creating training opportunities for Nation members going into the Information Technology Field and providing reliable and efficient internet for emails, uploading and downloading of documents, service bandwidth, reliable virtual meetings and more.
We appreciate and recognize CIRA as our main supporter for our Internet project.
