On behalf of Samson Cree Nation, I would like to send out a huge congratulations to all the High school graduates from the Samson Cree Nation and Maskwacis area!! There were many graduations that took place within Maskwacis and surrounding areas. Here is a bit of information from some of the graduation ceremonies. The Wetaskiwin Composite High School Graduation took place on May 25, 2018 and there were over twenty graduates at this event. Pigeon Lake Regional Schools graduation was held on May 25, 2018 with a single female student graduate(Katrina Boysis). Councilors Vincent Saddleback and Ordell Saddleback were present at this event. Maskwacis Outreach School celebrated on Friday June 1, 2018. Samson Councilors Larron Northwest and Vincent Saddleback were present and they said a few words to the families that were gathered. Another graduation took place at the Ponoka Secondary Campus on June 2, 2018. Samson Councilor Shannon Buffalo presented the peace Hills Insurance award to two students(Jerilee Buffalo and Alexi Buffalo) for their pursuit in higher education. Once again, congratulations to all you graduates, your nations and families are proud of you. Good luck to you in the future!!
