The summer student program has wrapped up for another year and it was a good experience. Thank you to the coordinators Pamela Green and Molly for setting up the communications department with two students. Good luck to all the students going back to school this year, make your nation proud in your academic journey’s. The program had a few events over the summer. The first was a Traditional Teachings Workshop held at the Jonas Applegarth theatre with various speakers including Flora Northwest, Dennis Meneen and Brian Lightning. As well, Kelly Karius hosted the No Such Think As A Bully Workshop and Dr. Driese hosted the Adverse Childhood Trauma Workshop also at the Jonas Applegarth theatre. Finally, the summer students had some fun at the Silver Creek Paintball field.
