Samson Cree Nation has created this Public Notice to address the Nation Members concerns regarding the Settlement.
The Samson Cree Nation has NOT received the Breach of Trust (Federal Court Action No. T-2022-89) Settlement Payment from Canada yet. Due to the conditions and timelines Imposed by the Government of Canada. Samson Cree Nation should receive all settlement funds sometime in October or November 2023.
