NOTICE:  “Reminder: Proper Garbage Disposal Guidelines”

 

Dear Tenants and Community Members,

1.   This notice serves as a reminder to:

• The 6-yard garbage bins are strictly for household waste only.
• Be mindful when disposing of waste in garbage
• Ensure all waste is properly placed within the receptacles to maintain the cleanliness of our Nation and its properties

2.   If improper use of the bins continues:

• All garbage bins will be removed.
• Townsite tenants will be required to pay a monthly fee for the use of garbage bins.

3.   Additional Points:

• All furniture, mattresses, appliances, and similar large items must be taken to the 3 Mile Transfer Station, where they will be happy to recycle
• The Public Works Department is not responsible for cleaning around the bins due to health and insurance purposes
