MISSION STATEMENT:

The Membership Department assists entitled applicants with processing Membership Registrations and/or reports Events of Samson Members to ensure that entitlement to Samson Cree Nation programs, services, and benefits, regarding PCD, Minors Trust and Estates, are carried out as determined by Chief and Council.

PURPOSE:

The Membership Department acts as a liaison with other Departments, First Nations and Organizations as they affect the entitlement to programs, services and benefits relating to Membership, Per Capita Distribution, Minors Trust or Estates matters.

Due to the privacy act Band Member information cannot be given without their authorization, it requires written consent.

• Birth Registrations Monday to Friday, require frame-size birth certificate
• Band Membership ID Cards
