MISSION STATEMENT:

The Information Technology mission of the Samson Cree Nation is to develop, provide, and maintain a comprehensive information technology system.

The Information Technology department assists and supports the growth of this industry within the Samson Cree Nation. In an ever-changing global environment the Information Technology department ensures the consistent operations of the computer and network systems, and providing instructional technology services to employees.

PROGRAMS & SERVICES :

• Provide a system of on-going training for staff that is required by them to effectively and efficiently perform their jobs.

• To maintain the central registry data archiving project.

• To maintain the email server and to provide email for Samson Cree Nation employees.

• To provide Internet service for Samson Cree Nation businesses.

• To maintain an accurate, informative Samson Cree Nation website.
